Update Account Profile
You can use this form to:
Change your personal or institutional email
Update your preferred forwarding target
Change your institution or role (e.g., Master’s → PhD → Postdoc → Lecturer)
How the update process works:
Submit the form with your updated details. Leave any fields you do not wish to update blank.
We verify the request by emailing an authorisation link to your current forwarding address.
If you’re adding new email destinations, those will also require verification.
Once verified, changes apply automatically.

Delete Account
Use this form to delete your ScholarMail account and address. A verification email will be sent to your current forwarding address to authorise the request. Please note that account deletion is immediate and permanent, and we cannot guarantee the availability of your current address should you leave and seek to return to the service and reclaim your old alias in the future.

Account Recovery
Use this form if you no longer have access to the email your ScholarMail address is currently forwarding to, and therefore cannot complete the normal verification process.
Examples:
Your institutional email was closed after graduating and you forgot to update your forwarding setting to your personal email or new institutional email beforehand
You lost access to an old Gmail/Outlook account
You changed roles or institutions unexpectedly
How recovery works:
Submit the recovery form explaining the situation.
We verify the new email address you are trying to add to your account by cross-checking with your ORCID profile.
If successful, we update your forwarding address manually and notify you.
Recovery is a manual process and we may reach out to ask for additional information for security reasons if required.
